Your Support is Needed

“It’s what’s missing that inspired us.”

Many neighbors believe a multi-use route on par with beloved trails elsewhere in Austin is long overdue. Advocates of building such a trail see this as a way to “connect the dots” by using existing parks and public properties, and believe the costs can be shared through public sector/private contributions to make this happen as quickly as possible.

The proposed EastLink community improvement project creates a safe, accessible connection to Lady Bird Lake, Parque Zaragoza, the Boggy Creek Greenway, Downs-Mabson Field, SFC’s Community Garden, the MLK Redline Station and ultimately, Bartholomew Park.

This is an opportunity to restore approximately 5.4 miles of existing trails and fill in a few missing sections, adding accessibility, connectivity, safety, and value to our community. With your support and feedback, we can make this happen!
